FERRO FIORITO | 2025 Calendar | (PRE-ORDER)
PRE-ORDER NOW | LIMITED STOCK AVAILABLE.
Elevate your year with the k.arti calendar – a fusion of organization and artistry. One of our best-selling items, our calendar, is designed with twelve, original, seasonal artworks, one for every month of the year. At the year’s end, each artwork can be repurposed creatively, embracing sustainability and art that keeps giving.
This year's collection takes a bold twist, blending our love for the natural beauty of Malta with a newfound focus on the built environment. While we’ve always celebrated the wild flora of the Maltese landscape, this collection explores the delicate interplay between the organic and the architectural.
The inspiration behind Ferro Fiorita comes from the timeless elegance of wrought iron elements found throughout Malta's buildings—ornate railings, intricate balconies, and decorative doors that have stood the test of time. These crafted ironworks, with their flowing curves and detailed swirls, mirror the natural shapes of Malta’s wildflowers and plants, creating an unexpected yet harmonious dialogue between the man-made and the organic.
In this collection, we sought to highlight how nature seems to reclaim and intertwine with these static, iron structures. In each artwork, plants and flowers grow and wind through the ironworks of 12 different Maltese buildings, from renowned landmarks to hidden architectural gems tucked away in the streets. Through this, we freeze the beauty of nature within the iron’s permanence, allowing them to coexist, as though nature is gently taking over, yet celebrating the artistry of both.
Ferro Fiorito is a celebration of contrast—of the enduring permanence of crafted ironwork and the fleeting beauty of nature, illustrating how they come together in a dance of elegance, balance, and timeless charm.
